Messrs Dench, O’Donoghuc, McDennid McKenzie, Pitt, and Millar were proposed and seconded. All the candidates, exceptin''Mr Pitt who was absent, addressed the electors. Mr Millar stated he had no intention of contesting the election Ihc poll is appointed to take place on the 18th mst.
