This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor.) DRUNKENNESS. Allan M'Dougall was fined 40s or three days ; John James, 5s or 24 hours. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. Thomas Carroll was charged with obstructing the carriage road in High street. DecLioti deferred. Ellen Edwards, alias Ne ly Grutt, was charged with vagrancy and using abusive language in Maclaggau street. Case adjourned till Monday. Mary M‘Naught, 1 upon the information of Inspector Nimou ' was ordered to pay costs for negligently I allowing water to run to waste. George 1 Grey was fined 5s for furiously riding ! tluough George street. Bryan O’Kaw was < fined 2s Gd and costs for allowing bis horse ■ to wander upon the Town Belt. James 1 Miller was charged with furiously riding tv I horse. Case dismissed with a caution. t
