MAYOR'S COURT.
This Dav. (Before his Worship the Mayor.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. Andrew Williamson and Daniel Hanley, charged by Constables Boss and M‘ Mahon respectively with this offence, were each fined ss, with the usual alternative. VAGRANCY. James Burns, who was ari’estcd by Sergeant Maloney on the charge of having conducted himself in a manner calculated to provoke a breach of the peach in a right-of-way off Walker street on yesterday, was ordered to pay a fine of 10s, or to be imprisoned for 24 hours. ABUSIVE LANGUAGE. Detective Farrell charged Francis Matchett with using very abusive language in Walker street on yesterday evening. Prisoner was fined 20s, or in default three days’ imprisonment. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. William Boucher and Charles Smith, for conveying passengers to the races on the 23rd inat. in an unlicensed carriage, were each ordered to pay 20s aad coats.
