INDECENCY. John Jaokling, for this offence, was sent to gaol for 24 hours, and for destroying the arresting constable’s uniform, he was ordered to pay 14s in addition to a line of 20s. HABITUAL DRUiNKENNESS, Mrs Mary Upjohn, brought up on this offence, was let off with a severe caution, LARGENT. Ellen Gately, charged with stealing a pair of earrings, the property of Mary Berry, was remanded to to-morrow. OBSCENE LANGUAGE. William Colboume for this offence, was fined 40s and costs, or, in default, 3 days imprisonment. Mr Stout for the defendant. ABUSIVE LANGUAGE. Anne Bdlfeld. charged with the above offence, was fined 20s and costs or 24 hours imprisonment. OK PENCES AGAINST, THE RYE-LAWS. Edward C. Ewen, for allowing horses to stray in Hanover street, was lined 2s Gd ; and Fitzroy M ‘Lend, for allowing water to waste, was discharged with a caution ; Edwin Bethcrieh, for a like offeueo, was ordered to pay 203 and costs, The Inspector stated
