GENTLEMEN,— Seeing that the important Constituency of the Peninsula has been so little appreciated by the few able men to be found in the Province, as only to bring forth Mr Tolmie as a Candidate, I have, at the request of many residents on the Peninsula, determined to contest the Election, and if my friends support n;q as on a former occasion, there can be no doubt of success. I will meet the Electors at convenient localities in the District, in order to set forth my political views affecting their interests and the Province generally.
