THE VOLUNTEERS.
The No. 1 Company (City Guards), the North Dunedin Rilles, and the North Dunedin Cadets, paraded on the Northern Recreation Ground last evening for inspection by Colonel Hariugton. Of the Guards there were present 44 rank and tile ; North Dunedin, 34; Cadets, 32. After being put through drill, Colonel Hariugton complimented the men on their proficiency, and expressed the hope that they would continue to improve in their drill.
