The amount ol revenue received at the Cus-tom-heuse' on goods cleared for consumption to-day. van £164 13s 7d. Town brands of flour meet with a good trade sale at LI2. Inferior kinds are dull at L 9. Bran, in trade lots, is moving at L 3 to L 3 ss. Pollard is scarce at L 4. Provincial potatoes are well supplied ; the price of good sorts is L 6, Australian samples may be had at L 4 10 to L 5. Prime milling wheat is in active demand at 4s 6d. A few parcels have changed hands at rather higher rates. Fowl wheat is selling at 3s, Oats are very dull : feeding lots are offered at Is 9d to Is lOd. The price for good milling is 2s to 2s 2d. Malting barley is scarce ; buyers are offering 4s 6d, but holders are wanting ss. Feeding sorts are not wanted. Straw, L2 10s. Hay, L 3 10s. Chaff, L 3 10s. A. Mercer reports for the week ending March 16Retail prices—Fresh butter, in £lb. and 11b. prints, best quality, Is per lb. ; second quality, lOd per lb. ; fresh butter in lumps, lOd per lb ; powdered and salted butter, lOd per lb.
