WASTE LAND BOARD.
The Waste Land Board met at noon today. Present Mr Reid in the chair, Messrs Bathgate and Hughes. The objections ts the sale of 43 acres of run No. 80, to W. O. Ball, were referred to the Government to obtain a Warden’s report.
A written objection to William Casserly being allowed valuation of improvements on section 11, block 1. Fairfax, was read. L.'Flyn’s request.' that a few more sections should be surveyed in Macraes township was agreed to , Connell and Moodie’s application, on be* half of Fairfax Fenwick to have a light-house reserve, adjoining sections 52 and 54, block 4, Oama u, put of for sale, was referred to the Government for report, whether the re* serve can be withdrawn. Connell and Moodie’s application, on be* half of John Shaw, to purchase three small islands, oppo ite sections 15 and 16, block 22, Clutha, was referred to the ranger for report. On the report of Warden Robinson, the appplicatioa of John Durward, for a coal* house at Kyeburn diggings, was agreed to on the usual terms.
