MAYOR'S COURT.
This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor and Mr J, Brown, J. P.) DRUNKENNESS. John Robinson was fined ss, and was discharged with a caution for resist ng constable Haldane while in the execution of his duty. Wm. A. Smith was tin-id 20s or 3 days’ imprisonment. Patrick Kelly was fined 6s. VAGRANCY. A charge of imposing by false pretences on Jas. Hutton, with a view ti obtaining food and drink preferred against Wm. A. Smith was withdrawn. A BaOTUEL ROBBERY, William Roberts, alias Lankey Bill, alias Gawkey Bill, was sentenced to six months hard labor for stealing two LI notes from the trousers pocket of one John Ward in a house off Walker street last night. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS Duncan Muirhoad, plying for hire off the cab stand, was let off with a caution.
