Storm Bird for Invercargill, Feb. 29 Sarah, for Boston, early Taranaki for Northern Ports, Feb, 28 Wallace for Oamaru, March 1 Wanganui for Northern Ports, Feb. 29 The barque Jewess, far Lyttelton, was yesterday afternoon towed to sea by the p.s. Sampson. The ship Peter Denny, for Loudon, with passengers and a full cargo was towed to sea last evening by the p.s. Geelong. The ship E. P. Bouverie, with passengers and a full cargo for London, was taken in tOW by the p.s. Wallace too late for the tide, and the departure did not take place until this morning, when the ship was towed to sea by the p.s. Geelong. The brigantine Sword Fish, with a full cargo of timber and fruit, consigned to Messrs Dalgety, Nichols, and Co., arrived this morning from Hobart Town, and was towed to an anchorage at the Port by the p-s. Geelong. Captain Harvey reports leaving the above port on the 11th inst., experienced moderate westerly winds until the 18bh, when the South West Cape was made, thence met •with baffling winds to arrival. The s.s. Beautiful Star sailed last night with passengers, cargo, and mails, for Lyttelton and intermediate ports. The p.s. Wallace .sailed this]forenoon on her usual trip to Oamaru. The s.s Stormbird arrived this afternoon from the south.
