MAILS CLOSE. Saturday, Feb 17. For Boston, U.ti., per barque Willian Cundall, for letters specially addressed onlj, at 10.30 a.m. Per p s. Nevada as under : For Northern Forts of New Zealand, America, West Indies, the Continent of Europe. &c., and United Kingdom, via San Francisco at 7 p.m. Late letters with one additional single rate per letter may be posted till 7.30 p.m. For registered letters, money orders, and newspapers, at 5 p.m. Monday, February 19. Per s.s. Coorong as under : For India, China, Japan, Penang, Singapore, Manilla, Aden, Mauritius, the British, French, and Austrian Post Offices at Alexandria, Foreign countries, via Brindisi, Malta Gibraltar, and France (direct) at 11.30 a m. For Australian Colonies (except Victoria), at 12.30 p.m. For London, via Southampton, via Marseilles, and via Brindisi, Victoria and Southland, at 1 p.m. For issue of money orders, and posting of registered letters and newspapers at 10 a.m. Late letter’s may be posted as under : Australian Colonies, except Victoria, with late fee of 3d per letter, till 1 p.m. For London via Brindisi, via Marseilles, Victoria and Southland, with one additional single rate per letter, till 1.30 p.m. N.B.—Only those letters specially addressed will be forwarded by the above route.
