OBSCENE LANGUAGE. The case of Levina Tendevolt v. Jane Scott was withdrawn on the application of complainant. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE LAWS John Grant, charged with allowing his cattle to stray, was fined 2s 6d and costs. Thomas Frew, 2s 61 and costs ; and Thomas Murphy was discharged with a caution. Marion Powell was fined in the sum of 2s 6d for helping to water supplied by the Dunedin Water Works Company to one William Wright.
