Feb. 2 City of Dunedin, for London, early Flirt, for Auckland, Feb. 3 E. P. Bouverie, for London, early Geelong, for Oamaru, Feb 2 Jewess, for New York, early The p.a. Wallace, with the Government excursion party, left Riverton at an early hour this morning, called at Bluffy for passengers, and left again for Dunedin direct at noon to-day. She will therefore arrive early to morrow. The s. e. Rangaitira sailed this morning for Northern Ports, with passengers and cargo. The s. s. Taranaki arrived from the Bluff this forenoon, and sails on Monday next for Northern Ports, with passengers, cargo, and mails. The brigantine Stranger that arrived yesterday afternoon from Newcastle, reports sighting off Cape Saunders, on the 30th inst, the ship Charlotte Gladstone, from Loudon, bound to Lyttelton with passengers and cargo. All were well on board. The s.s. Maori sailed last night for Lyttelton and intermediate ports, with passengers and cargo. The cutter Advance sailed this forenoon for Waikouaiti. The barque Union, the first wool ship of the season, has completed loading at the Bluff, and will put to sea on the first favorable opportunity. She takes in all 2562 bales ot wool; 17 bales, containing 1756 sheepskins, besides 845 packages preset ved meats, 2 casks sealskins, and 7 packages personal effects. The w001—371,7301bs of which are washed and 463,9361bs in the grease—is valued at L4B,oiio; the total value of the cargo being L 49,373. —Southland Tim s.
