The ppst of Solomon’s and 0 ‘Neil’s children was said to he as a week j of Grant’s, 2s fid; the latter, on receipt ot bis children into the school fifteen months’ ago was ordered to pay 2s fid weekly towards their support, but had neglected to do so. He expressed his willingness to do so now ; hut Sub-Inspector Thompson having stated that he had been in pretty constant work, an adjournment of a week was grafted to allow him paying off the old plaim. Tp Solomon’s case it was proved she was the owner of a cottage in Russell street, and that she cquld find means to purchase liquor and patronise the theatre : she and o‘Neill were ordered to pay 2s fid from this date. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS, Wm, Bunbury, for furious driving, was fined 10s and costs ; Wm, Beauchop and Charles Anderson for allowing horses to wander, 2s fid and costs; Henry 6torer, for a similar offence, 2s fid.
