POST OFFICE NOTICES.
MAILS CLOSE. British and Foreign mails, via Suez, will be despatched from this office, per s.s. Ban gitoto, on or about Monday, February 6th, and will proceed by the P.N.0., “extra”steamer, Bangalore, leaving Melbourne on February 16th, in time to catch the fortnightly mail from Galle. Only letters specially addressed will be forwarded. British mails via Sanj Francisco will be despatched from this office on Friday, the 16th prox. ARCH.
