The amount of revenue received at the Cus-tom-house on goods cleared for consumption to-day, was £605 19s 6d, The sth weekly sale of wool was held at the sale rooms of Messrs Cargill and M ‘Lean’s to-day. The attendance was large and bidding spirited. It will be seen by the subjoined list that prices ruled firmer than at the previous sale, Six bales of greasy M in diamond ■bo unaer, HJgcT; 2 bales, 1 bag greasy, AB. 12£ d; 1 bale do, black, Islay, 9£d ; 1 bale greasy, Islay, 12fd; 1 bale mixed pieces, AT, 10|d; 4 bags locks, AT, 4d; 170 bales greasy, Y in circle over Cottesbrook, 13d ; 129 do, TO, 14|d ; 35 bales, M & Co, Eweburn, 12d ; 2do do, clingy, 9§d ; 7do do, pieces, Sgd; 9 bales hoggetts and wethers (circle in centre of cross), 13(.d ; 17 bales merino, same mark, lid ; 1 bale .pieces, same mark, 7 od j 2 do locks, same mark, s£d ; 250 bales greasy, GT in diamand, LS under, 10|d; 4 do T, 16d; 11 bundles skins, FP in diamond, 9d. Messrs M‘Landress, Hepburn and Co., instructed by Messrs Connor aud MTCay, offered for sale yesterday, on the reclaimed ground adjoining the Graving Dock, the contractor’s plant. The attendance was good, but the prices realized' were not so satisfactory as might haue been anticipated. The whole lot was, howevef, disposed of, excepting a few miscellaneous articles for which there was no offer.
