RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
This Day. (Before A, C. Strode, Esq., R.M.) Civil Cases. M'Kay v. G. Goddard.—L9 8s Bd, for butcher’s meat supplied, Judgment by default for the plaintiff for the amount, with costs. J. W. Fish v. Gardiner and Moore. —LI9, for work and labor done, and balance duo on a cart supplied to defendants. Mr Harris for the plaintiff. The defendant Moore disputed his liability to Fish, as the cart was built to Cardiuer’s order before the partnership was arranged; Gardiner took *t away, and he himself had nothing to do wjtk it. For the plaintiff it was shown that Moore had himself communicated with Fish, and given directions to have it forwarded for the rise of’ tire firm. Judgment for the plaintiff for the amount claimed, with cosis.
