THE VOLUNTEERS.

The Artillery fired the first competition this morning at the Andersonsßay range for their new Champion Belt upon the following conditions, viz—s shot, at ranges 300, 400, 500, and 600 yards, Wimbledon targets, Hythe position at first two ranges, and any position at the others. The weather was good, with a light variable wind from the right. Lieut. Muir is the winner, with 60 points, and holds it for the ensuing six months. The following are the six highest scores.
