The p.s. Geelong returned last evening from Oamaru with a full cargo of wool for transhipment, and reports the schooner Crest of the Wave leaving for this port, also the brig Wave about to sail for .NewCtisfcl'di The s.s. Wanganui arrived this forenoon from Northern ports, and was anchored in proximity to the Floating Dock, which she expected to enter by to-morrow morning s tide, to receive the usual periodical overhaul and relit. Her passengers, mails, etc. were conveyed to Dunedin by the p.s. Peninsula on her noon-day trip. The Wanganui brings a number of horses from Wanganui, and experienced fine weather on the passage. The barque Hydra was to day towed to sea by the p.s. Geelong, and proceeds toiNewcastle to load cargo for this port. The s.s. pretty Jane sailed last evening for Invercargill and Kiverton with passengers, cargo, and mails. by electric, telegraph. ARRIVED, Timam—Jan. I.7th, 10.30 a.m., Maori, from Dunedin. SAILED.
