To the CITIZENS of DUNEDIN and Suburbs : In fulfilment of a promise made, on the 9th September last, to a deputation of Citizens, THE PROPRIETOR of tbe Dunedin Gas Works has satisfaction m announcing that he is not only prepared to carry out his engagement, but to offer even more liberal inducements to large and regular consumers who will pay rates promptly. From the Ist of January prox., Gas supplied by the Dunedin Gas Works will be on the following terms : To Consumers who pay their rates not later than the 15th of each p>onth, the charges will be J.ss per 1,0,00 feet for casual consumers. To Consumers for contracts entered ijito for three years (transferable to successors in business or to other premises) 12s 6d per 1000 feet. For which, contract forms are to be had at the Gas Office, Princes street. N.B.—All rates payable monthly.
