As 1 have always been anxious to encourage local industry, it is very gratifying to me to see our TWEED MANUFACTORY receiving so much encouragement, and 1 can assure those gentlemen who have not yet given the MOSGIEL TWEED a trial that they may depend on me supplying them with garments made of it at the CHEAPEST POSSIBLE PRICES, as I am determined to do everything in my power to encourage NATIVE INDUSTRY, and thus keep the money In the country, being fully convinced that we shall never be very prosperous as a community, unless wc do so whenever practicable.
