PORTOBELLO TOWNSHIP, bj' Public Auction, DRIVER, STEWART, and C X have received instructions from the Proprietor to sell by public auction, at their Wool Stores, High street, on Tuesday, 9th January, 1872, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, The beautiful Township of PORTOBELLO, Situated on the sunny side of Dunedin Harbour, opposite Port Chalmers, with good communication by cither land or water. Portobello is unsurpassed for sites of the richest land, admirably adapted for villa residences, and is in the immediate proximity to the Jetty, at which steamers call regularly. Lithographed plans of the sections are now ready, and can be had at the office of the Auctioneers. TEUJIS — One fourth cash. do at 1 year, with 8 per cent, added, do at 2 years, with 8 per cent, added, do at 3 years, with 8 per cent, added. The Public, it is hoped, will discriminate between articles bearing a false name To be had everywhere.
