Old Clergyman.— The oldest minister in Scotland, the Rev. Dr Ingram, Unst, Shetland, has been visited by the Rev. Dr Guthrie. Ho is ninety-six years of age, having been ordained in the year that Dr Guthrie was born. “His eyes,” said Dr Guthrie, at the social meeting held in Dr Ingram’s church, “are not din.ued, nor his faculties impaired/’ He is deaf, but can see well, and still preaches. At the social meeting he spoke, and is yet in the habit of daily conducting the family worship. Dr Guthrie said it was truly an interesting sight to sec the Dr entering into the games of his grand children with alacrity, and he should never forget the pleasant converse they bad held together.
