Sudden Death.—A woman named Elizabeth Johnson, living in a right-of-way off Stafford street, died suddenly at half-past three o’clock to day. Deceased, who for a long time had been in a very destitute condition, complained during the past few days of weakness, and was to have gone to the Hospital to-day. Fatal A<vident. —lnformation lias reached us of a fatal accident that occurred to-day at the top of Stuart street. A man, named James Newton, while engaged taking out stone from a quarry, was crushed by the falling of a stone. Medical assistance was sent for, but was unavailing, the poor man dying almost immediately after the accident.
