WATER WORKS COMPANY v. DR. CRAWFORD.
To the Editor. Sir, —In reply to Mr -William Begg’s letter in your Lsue of last evening, I beg to state that, allowing a medical practitioner of high standing in the profession” to have examined Dr. Crawford carefully on the 4th
inst., and to have expressed himself correctly on his then state of health and strength, this, I consider, is far from proving that the diagnosis I arrived at on the 27th ult. was incorrect. Seeing I was the only medical man consulted at the latter name of date, every other evidence which can appear must ho viewed as going for nothing. I trust to have done writing on this subject into which I have been very unwillingly and unjustly dragged. I am, Ac., Robert i'owie, Surgeon. Hove street, 7th December, 187b
