This Day. (Before His Worship the Mayor and W. H. Valpy, Esq., J.P.) DRUNKENNESS, Geo. Deardon was fined 5s ; Kate McDonald, an old offender, 40s, or four days’ hard labor. Jane Jones was discharged with a caution, it being her first appearance in this Court. INDECENCY. Francis Pellett was discharged with a caution. 4.SSAULT. Johnston y. George was dismissed for nonappearance, OFFENCES AGAINST BYE DAWS. Anthony Harden, for allowing a horse to stray, was fined 2s fid; John M'Kay and Charles Hay. for a similar offence, 2s fid each and costs; Euphemia Muirbead, for allowing cattle to stray, 5s and costs ; William Marshall, allowing a horse to stray, 10» and costs ; Mrs Treston throwing impure matter 09 Spjjth street, 2s fid and costs ; Adam Somerville, removing fhe surface soil off Young t-treet, 5s and costs. Bain v. Begg was dismissed with a caution, the horse found depasturing by the ranger havim> been previously reported to the police as stolen.
