WASTE LAND BOARD.
The Waste Laud Board met to-day at noon, present, the Chief Commissioner of Waste Lands, Messrs Reid and Hughes. It was resolved on Mr Driver’s application to have sections 15 and 16, block. : 1, R&itansata put up foV sale that the ranger be instructed to report. ■ Mr W, Barron’s application, to have sectic n 24, block 7, North Harbor and Blpeskii}} put up for sale, was referred to the Depart' ment of Roads and Works! On John Sinclair’s application, to purchase an acre out of section 28, block 2, North Harbor and Blueskiu, it .was decided (bat the applicant bare (be piece surveyed
and that it be offered for sale at ‘203 an acre, the cost of survey to be added and returned to the applicant should he not be the 5 urchaser. . t> i The application to bliy a site for a Presbyterian church at Naseby, was referred to the Warden. . , The Board, in reply to an application by S C. North, for a site for a flour null at Bpotte’s Creek, stated they were prepared to consider it favorably on a sketch being
“ It was decided that the buildings of B. E Field, Alexandra, be valued, and the amount added to the section on winch they stand, before the sale. Mary Dugan was directed to have a survey made, within three mouths, of the laud applied for by her, which is then to be offered for sale with valuation. Several surveys were approved. An application to purchase a residence section by 0. T. Beiil, Naseby, was referred fo the War ! cn. The Otago Antimony Company were allowed two additional months to complete their survey* ~ ? -\xt Before considering the app ication of U. S DouM.'ss, on behalf of J.
