This Day. (Before His Worship the Mayor and W. H. Valpy, Esq., J.P.) DRUNKENNESS. William Davis was fined 20s or three days imprisonment. OBSCENE LANGUAGE, William Blackford, for using obscene language towards Richard G. Harris was fined 40s or a week’s imprisonment with hard labor, OFFENCBS AGAINST BYE LAWS. B. F. Stohr and William Barnett having abated the nuisance on their premises, the cases against them was dismissed ; John McKay -was mulcted in costs for driving a dray without having the name painted thereon ; A, J, Smyth was charged with driving round the corner of Stafford and Princes streets, but being a first offence under the new bye-law the case was dismissed with a caution.
