ANDERSON’S BAY RIFLE RANGES.

To the Editor. Sib,— Now that this great rifle match is finished, would it, be r asking too much if the “powers that be” were requested to-place the. targets in their i former position. The matches of the Rifle Association will be coming on in a short time ; and with all de-: ference to Messrs Walker and Christie as marksmen, I think that the interests of the ; Volunteers as a body are not a whit less l worthy of attention than even theirs, 11 have heard it reported that the targets are not to be put back to their old position for another week or so. 1 hope that is not the case, I am, &c., S. D. Dunedin, November 22.
