MAYOR’S COURT.

This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor.) OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. Norman Wood, for placing building material on Rattray street without permission from the City Council, was fined 2s 6d ; and Joshua Solomon was mulcted in a similar amount for obstructing the footway in Maclaggan street. Norman Wood, for erecting a building without permission so to do, was fined 2s (kl ; and William Oolborne, for plying with his cab for hire off the stand, os and costs. The last-named defendant was charged with driving his horse round a street corner at other than a walking pace. Being the first case brought under the new bye-law, it was dismissed with a caution.
