(FKOM our own correspondent.) Wellington, October 26. The Dunedin Supreme Court Offices’ Bill has been read a third time. The Canterbury Waste Lands Bill, which adopts the principle of deferred payments, vyas read a second time upon a division, the ayes being 41 ; noes, 17. The Otago Waste Lands Bill was called on foy committal last evening, but Mr Reid declined proceeding with it at such a late hour. It stands over until Monday.
