THE VOLUNTEER PARADE.

To the Editor. Sik, —There surely must be some mistal e about the parade being changed from Friday evening to Thursday. The Commanding Officer must be aware that the Mail leavi s on Friday, consequently Thursday evening is the very worst night that could be choser, as many of the volunteers wilt be unable to attend. If the parade is not to take place on Friday evening, as originally ordered, it will require some very strong and urgent reason to justify him in ordering it to be held on Thursday.—l am, &c. Interested. Oct. 21 ,• 1871.
