BISHOP STROSSMAYER'S SPEECH.
To the Editor, Sut, —Granted that the speech of Bishop Strossmayer is a fabrication (which I am disinclined at present to believe), as Bishop Moran alleges it to be, is he in a position in the interests of Catholics, or would-be Catholics, to dispute the stern facts contained therein ? If hejeau do so, and satisfactorily break down the barriers of history behin 1 which the arguments therein put forward arc sheltered, I will at once become a Catholic and a believer in human infallibility. I am, &c., Anglican. October 19, 1871.
