ARRIVED, Oamaru : Oct. 19th, 5.30 a m,, Maori, from Dunedin. Bluff: 2.30 p.m., Beautiful Star, from Dunedin. A barque arrived at, and passed to the northward of the Heads yesterday forenoon, without having been signalled. She, however, again hove in sight this forenoon, and was signalled as the Union, from Hong Kong, with passengers and cargo. The s.s. Maori sailed last night with passengers, cargo, and mails, for Lyttelton and intermediate ports. The s.s. Pretty Jane sailed for the Molyneux and Gatlin’s River at an early hour this morning. Messrs Sutherland and Co., shipwrights, of Port Chalmers, proceeded with her to the Molyneuxfor the purpose of hauling up the stern-wheel steamer Tuapeka for extensive repairs. The s.B. Ahuriri sailed at 2 o’clock this afternoon for Wellington and intermediate perts, with passengers, cargo, and mails. The s.s. Storm Bird sails this evening for southern ports.
