(from our own correspondent. ) Wellington, October 5, Mr Steward’s Libel Bill was thrown out on the second reading. The debate upon the expenditure in the district north of Auckland has been adjourned. Mr Henderson has given notice of his intention to move that the honorarium be fixed at LIOO. Mr Geo, Bell, editor of the Evening Start was to-day examined before the Telegraph Committee. The adjourned debate on Mr Macandrew's resolutions takes place to-night. The Hon. John Hall’s health is improving. '
