(from oreville’s telegram company, eeuter’s agency.) Wellington, Sept. 30, The Post’s Manawatu correspondent reports that the Native meeting at Rangitika, the following resolutions passed amongst others on the second day :—l. That the survey of the settlement of the block by Europeans must be stopped at all hazards until Mr M‘Lean’s arrangements with the native owners were carried into effect. 2. That Government should be asked voluntarily to suspend the survey and occupation of the block pending final settlement according to Mr M‘Lean’s promises. 3. That any attempt to arrest natives for acts done in pursuance of the resolution at the meeting be resisted, but all natives must obey any summons to attend before a competent Court. 4th That notice of these resolutions be given by the Government to persons intending to settle on the block, and to the Press, and people generally. The meeting broke up quietly, resolving to take no further steps till time had been allowed the Government to learn their determination. ’
