Bluff- Sept. 2G, Claud Hamilton, from Dunedin The screw steamer, Pretty Jane, from Kakanui, and the Maori, from Lyttelton, arrived this morning and were placed alongside the ship William Davie to discharge their cargoes of preserved meats, wool, etc. The s.s. Claud Hamilton, for Melbourne, ria the Bluff, with a large number of passengers, cargo, and mails, sailed last evep.s, Wallace having received onboard a shipment of cement for the construction of the break water, at Oamaru, and other cargo, ex ship Otago, sailed for Oamaru this firenoon.
