The s.s. Beautiful Star arrived at Port Chalmers at 1.40 p.m. yesterday. She sailed from Lytmlton on Tuesday at 1 p.m. ; arrived at Akaroa at 6.40 p.m. ; sailed at 8.30 p.m., and arrived at Tirnaru at I.oU p.m. on the ISth ; sailed at 8.30 ; arrived at Oamaru at 5 a.m. to-day ; sailed again at 6.30 n.m., and arrived as above. Experienced strong southerly winds and h:ad sea. BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. ARRIVED. Invercargill—Sept, 15th, 2.40 p.m., Pretty Jane, from Dunedin. SAILED.
