The twin screw steamer Pretty Jane having repaired the loss of propeller, proceeded on her voyage at 8 a.m. this morning. The 8.8. Maori is to be placed in the Floating Dock to-morrow for the refitting of the shaft, etc., which was broken on the recent passage to this port, the necessary repairs hare been entrusted to Messrs Kincaid and M'Queen of Dunedin. The barque Acacia having made a splendid passage of six and a half days from Hobarttown, signalled for a tug this morning, and was towed to an anchorage at the port at 0.30 p.m. to-day. The s.s, Ahuriri arrived from Lyttelton and intermediate ports at 9.30 a.m. to-day. Wc are indebted to Capt, McKinnon for our usual tiles. The ship Garrick Castle, for Newcastle, was towed out at 2 p.m. this afternoon.
