Captain M‘Kinnon reports having left Lyttelton on Saturday evening last; arrived at Akaroa the same night, landed passengers, took on board cargo, and Bailed the following night for Timaru; arrived there on Monday morning, r ceivecl on board 16 saloon passengers, took in cargo, and sailed for Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. lust evening, arriving as above, experienced a heavy southerly gale from Timaru to arrival. The ship Wild Deer, for London, owing to the heavy gale, was unable to proceed to sea tills morning. We understand that she sails to-morrow morning. The p.s. Wallace sails for Oamaru this evening.
