The amount of revenue received at the Cus tom-house on goods cleared for consumption to-day, was £535 10s Id. In breadstuffs quotations are steady at last rates. Flour in best brands is selling at Ll4 and Ll4 10s, the former price being for lots of about 10 tons. The local inquiry is good, ami the bakers are purchasing with more e mfidence at the present time than they have been for the last inonth. Bran is dull, parcels are quitted for immediate delivery at something under L 3 without bags. For pollard, the consumption is considerably in • tecss of the supply. Oatmeal is quiet. Wheat, of first-class milling quality, is at 5a 6d, but there is no quantity offering to speak of. For heavy milling oats, 2s 4d is offered by the millers—holders generally will not accept this rate. Barley for feeding, is unsaleable. Malting samples are worth 3s 9d, but there is little inducement for malstore to buy. Flour, Ll4 to Ll4 10s ; pollard, with bags, I<4 10s ; bran, with bags, L 4; oatmeal, Li t; pearl barley, L2O; wheat, 5s 6d, for good milling ; 4s 6d to 5s for second class qualities ; oats, 2s 4d ftr milling; 2s 2d 2s 3d, feeding.
