Those who make such announcements by no means Hatter their readers, as no reasonable person would for a moment expect any man to keep his shop open for the mere pleasure of se’ling his Goods at 50 per cent, under cost price. T WBED S mr is fixed at the lowest possible margin of profit, but that I am happy in being able to say that the incrtme.il and erer-inmasimj demand for this ASTONISHINGLY CHEAP SUIT, more than makes up for the sma’lncss of profits, as 1 find that it pays me better than if I were to charge the exorbitant prices that some do. Just the other day ‘a customer told me that it is L2 ss. less than he has been in the habit of paying for an exactly similar suit. Such a saving is rot to be despised in these retrenchment tune's.
