Barr, Thomb, Moss, Shannon, Jackson, Mrs Wilson, Mrs McDowell, Miss McGarwin, Mrs Baches, and 22 Chinese. The s.s. Rangatira, from Lyttelton, arrived at an early hour this morning, and continued her course towards 1 nnedin. The s.s. Gothenburg, from Melbourne via the Bluff, arrived at 10 a.m. this morning. Her passengers, mails, &c., were conveyed to Dunedin by Harbor steamer at noon today. The barque Otago, for Newcastle, was being towed to sea when onr despatch left, and arrangements had been made on the return of the Geelong for towing the barque City of Newcastle, for Newcastle, to sea. Two fore-and-aft schooners—supposed to be the Jane Hannah, from Gatlin’s River, and the Alice, from Waikouaiti—arrived, and passed up towards Dunedin this forenoon. A survey was to-day held on the bng Wave, now in the Floating Dock for repairs. The particulars had not transpired when our despatch 1* ft.
