MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day. (Before bis Worship the Mayor.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. George Anderson and Bichard Jackson were each fined ss, or twenty-four hours’ imprisonment ; James M'tenuon, 10s, or fortyeight hours; and Mary Cameron, 20s, or three days’ imprisonment. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYK-LAWS. The following fines were imposed for the •{fences specified :—Mr Cotton, two horses wandering, 5s each ; Walter Blackie. driving without reins, 10s; Henry Fenwick, throwing stones to the damage of the market, dismissed with a caution; James Muir, leaving a dead horse on the public highway, 5s ; James Greig, adding to a building in Brown street without giving notice to the City Council, 5s ; Andrew Gallagher, being absent from his horse and cart, 20s ; 6. Shaw, removing soil without leave, 20s; George Matthews, for a like offence,
20s. Costs to be paid by the defendants in each case of conviction. CHANGE OF ASSAULT, Joseph Gregory was charged, on the information of Elizabeth Clarke, with assaulting Robert Cl -rke, her son. The case was dismissed.
