{From our own Correspondent.) Wellington, August 16. Mr Pearce, member for Wellington City, and Mr Richardson, member for Christchurch Eist, seconded, the Reply to the Address, which was agreed to without amendment. Mr T. B, Gil’ies attacked Ministers savagely, Mr George M‘Lean mildly, and Mr Stafford temperately. Messrs Fox, Gisborne, and Bunny spoke in reply. Mr T. L. Shepherd twice jumped up to address the Home, which was each time counted out while he was attempting a speech.
