John Henderson, a miner, was killed by the premature explosion of a blast, A carter also wasjseverely injured, being nearly blinded. The loss of the ketch Rose, with thre.e hands, is confirmed. A canoe upset in the Inaughua, and Michael'Zambusheach was drowned. A splendid sample of coal from Tipper Buller has been sent to the Colonial laboratory.
