IGNORANCE OR IMPUDENCE?
To the.Editor. .. Sin,—Tn the Star of yesterday, and again in the Daihj Timet of this date, his worship the Mayor advertises the afternoon of Wednesday. the Oth August, a. public holiday. Is it impudence or ignorance, or a happy combination of both that propels our de facto Mayor thus to assume the .rights of the Queen in < ouucii ? Probably the next will be an ukase. . . c. w r Dunedin, Oth August, 1871.
