CITY OF DUNEDIN.-Public Notice is hereby given, that the Nomination of Candidates for election to the several offices of Councillors and Auditors for the year ending Ist August, 1872, will be declared on 'lTiursday, the 27th day of July instant, at the Terrace of the Provincial Council Cham* hers, at the hour of noon. The Councillors retiring by rotation are:— For South Ward—Cr. E. B. Cargill. For High Ward—Cr. Henry J, Walter. For 801 l Ward—Cr. Louis Thoneman. For Leith Ward—Ur. Archd. H. Jack. Both the Auditors retire. Nomination must be in form of Schedule D of “The Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865,” and be lodged at the Town Clerk’s Office, Manse street, where blank forms may be had, on or before noon of the day herein fixei for the declaration.
