MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day. (Before His Worship the Mayor.) DRUNKENNESS. John M’Lay was fied 5s ; Thomas Rigjey and Thos. Davis, 10s each ; Juh'a Patrick alias Clare, 40s or three days imprisonment; and Clement Turner having been locked up since Saturday, was discharged with a caution, THEFTS. Robert J. Archer, charged with stealing a pencil-case from the Sussex Hotel, was discharged with a caution ; and John Woods, charged with stealing a number of tins, was remanded to Wednesday. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. Mrs Dugan, for allowing tne chimney of her house to take fire was fined 2s fid and costs ; and Isaac Casely jor allowing a horse to wander, 5s and cests.
