Phoebe in commission again, She will' resume her usual voyages about the 25th instant, when she will proceed to the Bluff, via intermediate ports, for the purpose of conveying the members for the Southern provinces and their families to Wellington to the forthcoming session of the House. The following is the report of the captain of the ship Otago, which made such a quick tun home this season ;—Left Port Chalmers February 15 ; passed Cape Horn March 12 ; crossed Equator April 5 ; and sighted Start Point April 30 j experienced fine (weather throughout the voyage. Arrived at Gravesend May 2. The ss T/ord Ashley, with passengers, cargo, and the SiU'z mails, transhipped from the ss Omeo, arrived at 8.30 a.m., and reports having left Lyttelton on the 17th inst. at 9.30 a.m., eased the engines during the night, experienced strong N.W. winds during the passage, and arrived as above. The s s Wellington, for northern ports, and the s s Maori, for Lyttelton and intermediate ports, sailed last evening.
